In 1977, Robert Heller and Patty Gallagher got married, moved to Northern California from their homes in the Bay Area and started on their path using their unique vision of creating the Home.
Robert and Patty have always worked as a team within their construction company. Robert is hands on in the building process of the more than 60 custom homes, wineries and assorted other buildings they have created in California, at times managing 3-4 large projects simultaneously. They have also subcontracted for Linkey Construction of Tahoe City, building a lodge at Granlibakken, a whole house remodel at Dollar Hill and a 7000 square foot custom home frame on Dollar Point. Patty manages the office, employees, and all things construction. Her creative passion for Interior Design compliments and completes their projects.
Through the years and the construction projects they have raised three extraordinary and talented children, two of which have joined Heller Construction, Cody Heller and Dan Heller. Each of their talents and perspectives bring to the company an invaluable approach. Both sons had celebrated Rugby careers at Saint Mary's College and know the meaning of teamwork. Their youngest, Melissa Heller graduated from Saint Mary's College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration and is currently working in that field in the Lake Tahoe area.

Robert Heller is 54 years of age. With thirty two years in the trades he has developed a broad understanding of the commitment it takes to accomplish varied projects. His dedication to his clients and to their needs reflects in the construction projects he has developed. They are backed by an extensive team of carpenters, subcontractors and suppliers. Going the extra mile to have satisfied customers and a quality project. Robert has expanded his company into the State of Nevada. He is also becoming a green certified construction company. When not building, you will find him enjoying nearby lakes and rivers.
Patty Heller, Manager

Patty has an experienced eye for color and design and a solid grasp of the actual building process. Her design philosophy is similar to her love of cooking… basic and simple then she adds the ingredients/accessories to make it pop. She has done design plans for home remodels and spec building. She also worked along with the Spirit Interior Design team on the Sunset Idea House in Truckee and assisted in the creation of the Spirit Gallery in Truckee. Her fondness for creating the home and all that it involves reflects in her enthusiasm for her family, her design projects, her love of animals and the outdoors.

The Heller's son Cody has been part of the company since he was old enough to sweep, working summers through high school and college. After he graduated from St. Mary's College of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration he spent two years selling real estate in Sonoma County. Cody then joined the company full time and is involved in all day to day operations of Heller Construction. When Cody is not working, you will find him in his boat in the summer and on his snowboard in the winter.

The Heller's son Dan has joined the company with a focus on Green Building. After graduating from St. Mary's College of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology he worked in sales and marketing before moving to Tahoe to build and remodel custom homes. Adding to his green certifications (HERS Rater #2005424, BIG Rater #2009110), Dan is continuing his education in green building with the goal of becoming LEED Certified. In his free time Dan can be found rock climbing, wake surfing and snow boarding.
